Rob Summers joined Funkadelic after completing a BS at MTSU. With a background in drums and live sound engineering, he's happy to help musicians make music: he's the 'light mayo on the sandwich of your band.’ His inspiration includes: Primus, Martin Short, Skatalites, and Fishbone.
Nory is a Saudi-American rapper, producer & composer whose music and performance shatters the confines of Hip Hop through experimentation in electronics, Jazz and rock sensibilities. Nory’s lyrics and performance places a microscope on the profound; tackling existentialism and the personal challenges of pursuing a career in the Arts in today's world. On the stage, Nory is a unique and unforgettable performer who dominates the space with a spiritual level of immersion. Through the musicianship of his band, Nory brings the audience into his art with electrifying movement and color.
Jose
Born in Ecuador, Jose moved to New York to find work after graduating from college. He first became interested in music after taking a production course in high school. He joined the studio in 2021 and continues to work as a front desk manager and equipment manager.
Will O’Halloran joined Funkadelic Studios to support emerging and established artists in the New York music scene. His musical journey began as a classical percussionist performing with orchestras, theater groups, and steelpan groups, eventually expanding into blues and indie rock bands after moving to New York in 2022. As a drummer, guitarist, and pianist, he brings firsthand experience to his role, paired with a background in live event coordination and music publicity. At Funkadelic Studios, Will ensures smooth daily operations, fosters a creative and professional environment, and keeps everything running at its best—whether it’s fine-tuning a drum kit, setting up a seamless rehearsal or recording session, or providing the perfect space for musicians to refine their sound.
Juan Pablo Pastor, born February 3, 1982 in San Luis, Argentina. He spent his early childhood as a boy soprano performing professionally in churches and formal events in Argentina while studying piano and electric guitar. Juan began playing the drums at the age of 16.
After graduating from high school in 2000, Juan Pablo moved to Santiago de Chile and studied piano, music theory and drums. Juan returned to Mendoza, Argentina where he studied for ten years under the tutelage of world-renowned drummer and winner of the 2001 international competition “Modern Drummer Weekend Contest” Gustavo Meli.
In 2013 Juan Pablo moved to New York City to further pursue a professional career as a drummer. Since Juan Pablo Pastor’s arrival in New York he has continued working with many artists, spanning various genres from Rock, Blues, Rap, Fusion and Jazz.
He’s currently giving lessons and hosting workshops at Funkadelic Studios NYC and leading his own project getting ready to release his DEBUT ALBUM 💿 on 2025!
